I have to admit that I was very nervous about our election, and have been very leery and upset over the direction that trump has been forcing the citizens of this country. We are in a disastrous war that We the People do Not want. It has and will continue to have caused economic hardship, and not just our country but globally as well. All because he has visions of grandeur dancing in his demented brain, and wants to take things that don't belong to him so he and his family can profit off of it.
Anyone who reads this blog knows that I very rarely post how I feel about our politics. But obviously I am not in the 1%. I am a liberal and have voted Democrat since I was 18. I firmly believe that the People should have the power and our government should be working for US and not Corporate and Billionaire interests. Trump has done a lot of damage since taking office and then lies about how much he has helped us. My groceries are killing my budget. Truckers can't afford diesel and the higher it costs is reflected in our grocery prices. Trump did that. Also took away healthcare and food from those people who needed help the most.
So, on November 3, 2026 (also my birthday) we had Midterm elections. I am so pleased and happy that the People have spoken and voted for change. Democrats were elected across the country and we now have a decent chance to fight back and make better things happen. I'm pretty proud of the American people who made that possible. Go Blue!! 💙 💙
